Planned change is a change in activities of an organization that is ‘goal or plan oriented’ in order to improve performance or achieve future goals(Tyonote, 2021). Change is invetable in any work environment and it can occur either in employees’ behaviour or work. Having a planned change will reduce any errors or mistakes as well as wash away any doubts or concerns. Moreover, planned change is benenficial because it ensures reaching future goals by following a detailed plan. Planned change will result in the following:

1-fullfilling consumer expectations

2-gaining new knowledge

3-developing team work

4-reinforce effeciency

Hence, all of the previous impacts will rsult in reaching intended or desired goals (Tyonote, 2021).

The planned change is a basic modification in some or all parts of the organization, and the change can include any of the joints of the organization’s work, such as the flow of work, it’s scheduling, the foundations of the organizational division, the scope of supervision, the machines, the organization’s design and the individuals themselves. And if the change is planned, it includes any aspect that management deems necessary to change to improve the effectiveness and success of the organization.

The importance of change is reflected in making the organization grow and prosper constantly, considering that this change is a continuous state of improvement that comes in response to changes in the organization’s work environment, such as changing customer needs or introducing new technology, or in response to new government legislation. The study of organizational change is very important because all managers at different levels of management will face it. Managers who have the ability to know what kind of change is appropriate to introduce make the organization more creative and flexible in response to the changes around it. Therefore, the working managers are encouraged to search for new ideas to bring about beneficial changes in the working vocabulary of the organization.

The impact of change on the organization:

1- Managing change automatically increases the likelihood of project success.

2- Change management increases the adoption of change, the absence of which may lead to failure to deliver results.

3- Making organizations able to respond quickly to market changes
